D HumbargerWho can do this.
Who can convert the lever on stainless steel marlin
45/70 to those large levers. I know stainless can be
a bitch to weld. Have 2 Marlins to convert.

D HumbargerCant buy what the customer wants. He is extremely picky about what he wants and
Marlin doesn't made what he wants.

His money.

Rick RI believe there was a guy on the Marlin Owners forum who was doing custom levers.
https://www.marlinowners.com/forum/forum.phpNo idea if he’s any good or still doing them as the stock lever suits me just fine.

Kyler HamannHow would it be difficult to weld? Is it an unusual alloy?
I would think anybody handy with a TIG could weld it for you. Shaping it correctly would take a lot more skill IMHO.

georgeldStainless is EASY to weld
with the right filler metal.
I've welded a LOT of it.
Learned a lesson:
"when in doubt, use stainless"
OR whenever the weld won't hold.
