Well, I stopped by MRC and purchased a action for a future project in .338-06. So now I have both the Winchester and the MRC and I think I'll be pleased with both. Bill at MRC was kind enough to give me a little tour and I enjoyed it very much.

I also dropped by Acra-Bond and picked out a Bastogne blank for the Winchester. This too was a pleasureable experience and Rod showed me their process and was very pleasant to speak with as were his employees.

It's a good thing I don't live up their or I would be single and cash poor but rifle rich All in all it was a fun day. Both men enjoy their work and are a pleasure to deal with and I look forward to getting my projects up and rolling so I can start some more. Thanks to the folks at MRC and Acra-Bond for a fun and informative day.
