butchlambertWorking on my 45-70 Rolling Block
dpcd is finishing up on my octagon barrel Rolling Block in 45-70. The receiver just returned from Turnbull after case hardening. I am anxious to have it as I believe it will be a beautiful rifle.

dpcdI'll send you a picture of the stock; almost finished. It is quite stunning.
What you don't see in this picture is the ten hours of hand polishing under the colors.

Tom, I know! As I said, It will be a beauty! Metal prep for bluing or color case is a very time consuming job to do it right.
Are you ready for my little 22RF Rolling Block?
