Crest Ultrasonics Cleaning Tank from Brownells
Does anyone have any experience with the Crest Ultrasonic Cleaners that Brownells sells?

I'm considering purchasing the Model #F690HT on P.219 of catalouge #57. It's about 19" long x 6" wide and 6" deep.

I am curious what other's have experienced with, and think about the quality of this brands units. Any information will be appreciated. Joe

I have no experience with ultrasonic cleaners, but I'd be afraid to put my pistol in one. I'm afraid it would remove the dots from the sights, and paint from the safety area.

Can't comment on how good that particular u/c works but in general, they are brilliant for cleanining your brass.
Gets all the crud out of the inside of the the case and primmer pockets.

I use a 2% citric acid and water mix for 5 mins in the u/c then a good rinse in clean water, a final rinse in ethanol then let them air dry.

Cheers,

We use Ultra Soncic cleaners to clean professionally. While they can damage things you gun parts should be safe.

They tried to dunk Howard in the tank to clean him and the machine went on "TILT".
