<FastAttack>Remington 700 BDL into ADL stock
I have a question for the Gunsmith god's.
I have a Remington 700 BDL 17 Cal and I am wanting to put it in a HS Precision stock, but the stock that I want is only available for ADL's.
Can this be done and are there any modifications to be made.
Thanks

Jay, IdahoI've done them. You will need an ADL trigger guard and an ADL magazine box. The ADL mag. box makes things work a bit better, the ADL is longer than the BDL so it "fills" the cavity in the H-S Precision stock better. Forgot to mention that you will also need the smaller dia. front trigger guard screw.

<G.Malmborg>FastAttack,
Sure, you can swap stocks provided it is for the same action, of the same length and configuration (R/H or L/H), but for the ADL stock you will need a different magazine box, follower spring, trigger guard and forward trigger guard screw.
