Do any of the better barrel makers supply a barrel contour that duplicates that of a CZ 550 Safari Magnum (less integral rear sight and recoil lug bases of course?) Alternately, is there a source for an inexpensive take off barrel that could be copied?

Douglas will copy your barrel and I will sell you one for $75 and I will send it to them. Then they will send it back to you with your new barrel.

I talked to Douglas about this and was told that they will no longer copy a customers barrel contour. Said that their tracer lathe was worn out.

Crap; that is bad news for me. I can do them by hand but it takes 2 hours. I just talked to Stan yesterday; I better call him again....
