Can you mount a safety to a Jewell BR trigger?

Can you take the safety off a Rem 700 trigger and mount it to a Jewell benchrest trigger that doesn't have a safety?

Jewell offers the BR trigger with a safety and a bolt stop. Give them a call.

Eddie, it has not been available on the BR model.

Butch, my wife and I have been using Jewell HBR 1.5 oz. triggers on our Hunter and Varmint Hunter class rifles for years. Same trigger as the BR but with a safety and bolt release. jewell was the first good trigger that was available when the IBS required a safety on HC and VH rifles. I also regularly install these triggers on customers Live Varmint rifles.
