A friend of mine has his grandfathers old shotgun,a John Browning designed Stevens model 620a, 20 guage.Someone had taken the screws out in an attempt to fix it( broken sear) without knowing what they were doing,and lost some of the parts.I got a new sear, and some screws to put in the ejector,got it assmbled correctly,but the ejector is out of stock.I have a talented smith who is willing to make a new part for it,but it would be nice if we had a pic of what it looked like,or a new part would be great.
If anyone has one of these shotguns,all I need is a good clear pic of the inside of the reciever through the ejection port,to see what the part looks like.

I have the schematic from numrich,and like yours,it is barely legible.They are going to send me a hard copy,to see if it is any better.
A clear picture of the part would go along way to getting a new one made.

Here's an ejector from a Model 520 in 12ga. The 620 is eccentially the same shotgun as the 520. The 620 has the more modern receiver contour. I think they use the same ejector

This ejector was worn out and was repaired by squaring up the worn surfaces and silver soldering in a new piece of steel and then filing it back to shape. The repair looks like there should be high spots to the ejector tips but that is just because the original metal was worn off low so far back from use. This repair had another 2000 or so rounds into it before the gun finally gave it up for the parts bin and you can see it's getting battered.

There isn't alot of area on the two extentions that actually strike the case so the shells are not as forcefully thrown from the gun as with some other models and they do wear out quicker than other designs. Kinda shovels 'em out instead of kicking them way clear!

The two extensions ride as high as possible in slots in the left side of the bolt w/o interfering.

The 'ramp' shape on the ejector base faces towards the muzzle and fits the machined cut in the receiver.

The second pic is what you would see if looking down into the action with the bolt open, muzzle to the right.

The pictures are of the #520-53 ejector, which ONLY fits the model 520.

The models 520A, 620, 620A use ejector # 520A-53 which is longer and a differnet shape.

I expect to have more made in the next 90 days.
