NobadeCZ 527 barrel threads
Anybody here know what the barrel threads are on these actions? I'm thinking about building a 6.5 PPC on one, but my lathe can't cut metric pitches so I need to know before I buy one and find out I can't do it!

I don't know, but I'd be amazed if the threads are NOT metric!!

MuleriderCZ thread is 1.25mm, which so closely matches 20tpi you can use standard lathe settings!
We just shortened and installed a 204 Ruger barrel where a 223 used to reside. Thread gauge verified just how close they are....hardest part was lining up on existing threads to extend the cut.
Bottom line, it worked great. 527 barrel does not have an extractor cut; extractor works inside a step cut in the barrel face.
My new cartridge is a 20-222 with the 30deg shoulder of the 204, plus we extended the chamber neck area, to use the lonnnggg neck of the 222 to allow bullets to be seated near the rifling (which was way deep, typical of 204 chambers).

NobadeThanks, guys! Looks like it's doable. BTW, my lathe is an ancient Clausing, which would be able to cut metric pitches if I had the change gears, but I don't.
