I bought a few of those brownells bolts and tried checkering them for practice but never could get the lines straight.

So I went looking for a bolt knob checkering jig. Couldn't find one.

I did find the photo of this jig for checkering pistol handles, and I suppose I could somehow modify it to hold a bolt knob. What it needs is to be able to hold the bolt knob solid so it doesn't move while checkering, but also be able to rotate an exact amount in order to make the cross hatch diamonds.



Just wondering if anyone has any photos of a real good bolt knob checkering jig.
