Anyone familiar with this smith, quality of his work? Thanks CAT

I can only say that I tried to contact him in the late 60's and could not communicate in any way. He did not answer letters etc.

I read at the time that his single shot action was excellent but I have never seen one.

He once made highly-regarded single-shot rifles, but I have not seen or heard his name in at least 40 years!
