602 is the magnum length - .375 H&H
601 is the short action - .222 and .308
600 is the medium or long - 30-06

OK, but is the ZKK 601 actually shorter or do they use a magazine block like Winchester didi for years?

Thanks again,
Terry

Nope its actually shorter...quite nice in fact, especially when they have the little pop-up peep in the rear bridge.
According to DeHaas:
601 is 8" and 41oz
602 is 9.125" and 45oz
600 is 8.625" and 43oz
Kuhnhausen has the 602 at about 8.25"

Anyway only thing to dislike is the trigger which hangs off the trigger guard...no aftermarket available. But they seem like a reasonable pull.
