N. GarrettNeed Gunsmith in Germany for Driling part
I have a guild type driling from Germany, made about 1930. The family that owned it sold it to me (and told me how they had hidden after the war to prevent it from being destroyed or lost).
It is missing the main action screw (on the outside of the reciever).
I have measured the screw dimensions carefully, and can tell a gunsmith what size I need.
I am sure he will have seen a similar screw before.
Anyone know who I might contact (by email, phone or fax) in Germany?
Thanks,
Garrett

LesBrooksA good gunsmith shop should be able to make this screw. So many of the guys are not up to metric screws, so put the dimensions you need on the AR forum. This may require some engraving to match. I had several of these types of jobs. Another reason to learn basic engraving and the basic metric system. I have tried to get people interested in learning the basic engraving with the sharpening tool on my CD as an add on to the stock duplicator info.
