Always wanted one of those, but something about this one seems wrong. The bottom picture bothers me, looks almost like someone was a little over zealous working on the charger hump. Could be just my eyes though, I'm no expert.

Actually that would be a benefit because it would make it a good candidate to cut the whole back part off and replace it with a square bridge.

If you want a perfect G.33/40 these days you will pay somewhere north of $650. Gone are the days when you could be picky with them.

It doesn't look like there is anything wrong with the rear bridge other than the Hump wasn;t entirely removed. Looks like they removed just enough to fit a base.

I too like to see what's under the bases before I buy.

Most sellers are happy to remove the bases for a pic if asked. If they don't I wouldn't buy from them.
