Re: Mauser action
i would offer 250 and stop at 275.. it's got surface rust/pits, the floorplate looks like the bottom of jack, and a NEW ONE is "only" 409

I don't think its such a bad deal, you have to surface grind them and polish them out inside and outside anyway no matter what action you use...I don't like the button in the trigger guard particularly and would use a drop box and trigger by Blackburn with it anyway..

$325 is not a lot of money for an action if your going to go all the way with a custom rifle..the Mk10 is a fine action for a 375 H&H caliber rifle IMO, but it like the FN or any other action for that matter requires a lot of work.

Jeffe, the ad said it is new in the white and there is still gease on the action. I suspect that is what is showing up in the photo. I have not heard much good about Daly lately. Their main emphasis is finding the cheapest place to have things built. They explored moving the shotgun manufacture to the Philipines. Now is that because of all the great gunsmith industry there or the cost of the labor.
