There are a number of German gunsmiths who are selling R93 replacement stocks for considerably less than what Blaser is currently asking and those stocks on good quality Turkish walnut as well. They are obviously using the same sourcing since they all have the basic typical Blaser R93 European (Bavarian cheekpiece) pattern.

I can make some inqiries if you'd like, let me know - after all what's one side of the Atlantic to the other anyway (except Euro prices!)?
