Toomany ToolsThanks for posting that. Even for $5,000,000 I don't think I could build a pair of those. Considering tools available in 1820, I wonder how many hours it took to sculpt them.

The geometry and knowledge that went into crafting that pair is astounding.
John, I think I could make a pair for $5,000,000 but the delivery date would be 40 years from now. I would not wind up making much though, considering the cost of the raw materials and the number of copies I would have to make just to get it right.
Simply astounding. This is the first time I can honestly say my jaw dropped and I was speechless about a firearm and a piece of art to boot!
