Woodrow SGale McMillan Titanium Rifle
Does anyone know anything about the Titanuim Rifles built by McMillan? The one I am looking at is in 300 Win Mag and is in great shape, but it appears that the rifling is of the polygonal style. The rifling type has me wondering about the accurracy potential of the rifle and why he chose that over conventional types of rifling. I have noticed that on some tactical rifle builders websites this type rifling is an option so what gives?

Big Bore Boar HunterPoly rifling has been around for a while and seems to be as accurate as conventional. Glock still uses poly rifling in their pistols.

eddieharrenPolygonal barrels are extremely accurate. Gary Schneider has been supplying the USMC with his 11 5P barrels for years. David Tubb has also been using the 6MM 8 5P on his rifles. Don't let the poly be a minus in making your decision. It is a plus.
