SnowwolfeHow do you dye acraglas?
I need to add some color to match the acraglas to some of my stocks.
I know Brownells sells dyes but is there an easy cheap source for doing this?

vapodogI use very fine walnut sanding dust. You could color it with any wood dust.....pick the color of wood you want and sand away....or use Brownells dyes. Use sparingly.....a little goes a long ways

srtraxI use an acrylid paint that artist use and it works fine for me. The burnt umber i have in front of me has a brand name of Liquitex, form Hobby Lobby. You can mix the colors to get what ya want!

CAS IIBoat shops usually have dyes next to the epoxy. Use about 10% of what you think you will need.
A small tube will last you forever.
