I need a stock for my Interarms Whitworth
Is the Interarms Mark X and the Interarms Whiteworth the same action? I want to order a replacement stock for my 375 H&H Interarms Whitworth. Thank you, Bryan

Action is the same, barrel channel will be wider on the 375 or 458. Want to sell your wood stock?

Forrest, if no go here, Sarco used to have Whitworth stocks available on their website, Mauser part section. Don't know if they're still around. Bob

First thanks to everyone for all information. I now have a nasty plastic stock and want a wood one. What is the WEB address for Sarco?

Are you sure? I just looked and they are still listed. They're under MarkX not Whitwoth. Here is the one I got from them (bad Picture).

I bought one and it worked great. The one I got had the cross button magazine release like the later MK X.

As usual just my $.02

Does anybody have a Whitworth with a recoil block dovetailed into the barrel? I have had a Whitworth for about a year that came to me magnaported (just had it cut and crowned to save my ear!) glass bedded and with the recoil lug on the barrel. I assumed it was factory but gunsmith doubted it.

Also, I replaced the factory safety with a PME 2 position. It works great but now I have a half moon gap in the stock that small animals could fall into. I'm thinking about filling in the gap with: buffalo horn, ebony, warthog ivory. Anybody elso done this. It's mostly cosmetic, but all kindsa crud, water etc would go right down into the trigger area if I leave this gap open. Bob

Bob, I'd cut out a small piece of walnut from the inside of the stock so it will match, perhaps from the bottom of the barrel channel, shape it to fit the gap and glue into place, then finish to match the rest of the gun.

I think the Whitworths with the cross bolts all have the steel recoil lug..I know FNs do. That is typical of most Mausers and many knockoffs.

I also seem to recall that any FN stock will fit a Mark 10 or Whitworth, or maybe it was a Mauser stock that fits the Mark 10 or Whitworth, at any rate a little inletting will make either one fit.
