QR Rings for Ruger 77
Can anyone tell me who makes Qr rings for Ruger 77's? I saw a reference to them in the forum a while back but can't seem to lacate it.

Ralph,
Have you tried using your normal Ruger rings?? When this topic came up on another
forum, quite a few people said there Ruger rings held zero when they were taken off & on. Although I have a Ruger, I confess I have not tried it but with that recoil lug to re locate them, I guess they could work,

<Phil R>Ralph,
Ruger QD rings are available from Warne.

Thanks Pete & Phil,
I was looking for them to mount on a .458 Ruger 77 I just acquired. The regular rings would be a little slow to get off in the field.

I know that Warne could not make a set of mounts durable enough to hold up with the recoil of a .416 Sako. I would specificaly tell them what rifle and calibre your mounting them on.

AtkinsonBe smart and have some gunsmith put levers on the original Ruger rings, a simple solution and 100 times better than Warnes on a big bore.....

Thanks Ray,
Sounds like a great idea that I hadn't thought about. We have a local gunsmith who is an excellent machinist and I'll contact him this week.
