Big Bore Boar HunterNew project
Once my wife figured out what that machine in the garage (lathe) is for, and that I can reasonably work on rifles, she decided the time is right for me to build her a varmint rifle. So now I have a Lilja 3g .224 tube (1/12 twist), an elk ridge laminated thumbhole varmint stock, and a rem 700 SPS .223 Short Action BDL type receiver sitting in my project safe, and .223 rem reamer being ordered from Dave Manson. I figure working part time should yield flying lead in about 3-4 weeks. I'll try to post pics as the thing goes on...

22WRFMaybe you have found the secret to satisfying the wife about buying gun parts. Make a deal that for every rifle you get she gets one too.
