PCKimber Montana Stocks, What are the made from and how to fix dent ?
Have a line on a Kimber Montana in .308 that a customer did not want due to a stock dent. I am wondering what the stocks are made from and how can it be repaired ?? Could it be bogged up with automotive bog and then sanded and resprayed ??

mad_jack02If the wood isn't broken, or a sharp edge around the dent, it can usually be steamed up and spot refinished as needed.

skbmontana is synthetic isnt it? If so, then fill with
epoxie like accraglass, reshape and coat with your favorite textured spray paint.

tiggertateAuto body filler is OK to shape patterns, fill pores or scratches but on a working rifle it can pop out of a deep dent after a few hot-cold cycles. You're better off usung an epoxy like skb says.
