McMillan / Win. Super Grade Stock
Well I am another left hander that was waiting on a Echol's Legend Stock blank. After reading another thread here at AR, it seems some lefty's have been waiting on this "dream" for about 2 or 3 years Frowner. I got tired of waiting and just went with the McMillan Winchester Super Grade Stock, for my current project.
I guess maybe I am second guessing myself, since I really didn't "shop around". The ones (Supergrades) I have handled seem nice, but some of you guys, seem to think it's a night and day difference. I believe the Supergrade is a David Miller design, so I am thinking it's well made.
If the Echol's lefties are made available, I will snatch one up for another project. But there's no since waiting on something that may never exist...

How many of you guys are shooting McMillan Super grade stocks and what do you think of them?

Thanks, Mark G

Whether sold under their own brand name or someone else’s...McMillan makes the best synthetic stock that you can buy, in my
opinion. Other people may “design†a particular “style†of stock and have McMillan produce it...but the manufacturing process is totally under the control of McMillan and they are not about to produce something that is inferior in quality, workmanship or material.

I shoot a LH McMillan Supergrade and while different from the RH offering it is not the Miller design. Not a bad stock at all, but it will be replaced with one of Echols' as soon as he is gracious enough to make them available.
