I have an 1872 Colt open top revolver made by Uberti (1851 Navy conversion). I would like to convert to 45 Colt by using a 45 colt chamber reamer. I have a 45 Colt cylinder byt cannot get it to time correctly. It is identical dimensionally to the Scofield cylinder so it seems like reaming the Scofield is a better option. This would be for Cowboy loads only. Am I missing anything?

send it to somebody like Cimarron Arms. They will time it if they feel the switch is safe.
