What's it worth?
I have access to a new, blued, never been barreled Sako L61R, four digit S/N, magnum, 375 length action. It belongs to a client and he thinks he wants to sell it.

Jim, there was one at the last gun show here, a take off in perfect condition, not sure of the ser # but they wanted 575.00 and it didn't sell but I would think in that area would be about right.

i'd guess in the 500 range, but that means you'll probably want 1000 for it. I'll offer 100 Big Grin

$575.00 sounds about right.

If it has the third lug like a Mauser You might get $575-$650 or probably $500-$550 if it doesn't. Early L61Rs have it, later ones don't.

"Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

If I wanted a .375 in a Sako I'd shell out $500 for it but this one is not for me.
I'd think someone will want it and shell out five bills.....try Blue.....
