<Rod@MRC>Acrabond Laminates
This decision was/is not an easy one to make and some of the influencing factors are very personal in nature.
To cut to the short of it, I'm moving from MRC over to Acrabond Laminates, where I will operate that business on a full-time basis.
I've always believed in this patented product and have slowly converted most of my personal rifles to Acrabond stocks. It's a good, maybe even great product and deserves to stay in the market. Acrabond has over 130 patterns and a good supply of wood. The craftmen who create the solutions are among the finest.
So we'll build beautiful, stable, stocks with Mel Smart's patented process and his classic Montanan designs...along with others. We'll be among the first to offer stocks for all shapes and sizes of M1999 actions and you can bet when you read rifle tests in the magazines, they'll be wearing Acrabond stocks.
Starting next week, I'll be logging in as Rod@Acrabond. I encourage one and all to make use of the MRC email addresses of Brian and Dan (brian1@montanarifleman.com and mtrifle@montanarifleman.com) for questions and suggestions.

I wish you all the best in your new adventure. I hope the folks you listed at MRC share your enthusiasm and willingness to deal with consumers and their questions first hand here and other places shooters gather on the net. dempsey

<Jordan>Rod:
I am absolutely ecstatic!!! I hope it works great for you. I really believe in Mel's product. It is a great product. After you get settled, let's talk about the status of a stock I sent Mel a few months ago to be laminated (Don't think it has been done yet). I'd like to send you some money.

30 Caliber Mag FanRod-
I wish you much success in your new endeavors.
Your posts relative to the M1999's were always informative as I am sure they will be for the Acrabond Stocks.

HunterJimRod,
Congratulations and condolences.
I am glad Mel's products will continue to be available. It is a fitting memorial to him.

MingbogoRod,
Is that mean you will make the best stocks available for the M1999 and the PH? Best of luck! Thanks!

Big DipperRod,
Best of luck to you on your new endeavor. If you put the same amount of energy and thought into it as you displayed on this board during the roll-out of the MRC action, I have no doubt that you will prosper.
