Welcome Back! Sorry to hear that you are so mired down you can't breathe. When you say you will only do spec guns (maybe) what do you mean by that? Complete rifles to customer spec or your rifles packages with some options?

Glad you are doing well, hope you get some time for fishing and hunting.

I am back from a long absence: Here is where I have been:

***Mired in a huge backlog of work
***Computer was F*&^%$ up due to spyware and popups imbedded in the hard drive. (Finally got it fixed.)
***Involved in another business requiring much of my time.
***Dealing with the illness of a family member.



Still have a large backlog, working on moving work out as soon as possible. I will not take in any new work for some time: When the backlog is "done" I am taking a long Sojurn from the gun work. (There are other things to do like fishing and Elk Hunting!!!) Thinking about closing the gun shop to general work and new orders, Future plan is to build "spec" rifles only.

I will occasionally drop by AR, as time permits, to see what is "shakin".

Welcome back John, I've missed reading your insights on this forum. Although I can't afford to get a real custom built, a lot of your wisdom has gone into the two semi-customs I've had built.
