HomebrewScrewdrivers
Looking for recommendations for a basic set of hollow ground screwdrivers appropriate for gun work. These will be used for routine maintenance mostly but would like good quality. Thanks.

BobsterTry Chapman screwdrivers. They make a great basic set that includes a wratchet handle. Set #8900, $48.

bpesteveThe Brownell's set is pretty useful, and replacement tips are not too expensive it you break one. Served me well for years.

BobsterI think he meant Magna-Tip.
https://www.brownells.com/guns...r-sets--prod417.aspxChapman bits are designed to break before they damage a screw slot. But they are only around $1.50 each to replace. I buy several of common sizes to keep as replacements. Then I regrind the broken ones as needed for special slots like Browning Auto 5 lock screws and thin slot European SXS screws.

"100% satisfaction guarantee" I think they will replace any and all if not satisfied, I may be wrong
