How big is this problem ?
Field stipped the bolt on my pre 64 featherweight .308 while giving it a though cleaning , and while whipping down the fireing pin an so forth, a managed to push the safety , to the fire position, uncocking . I can't put the bolt back together.
Is there a quick fix for this ?
thanks ...tj3006

pushing the firing pin against a block of wood until you compress the spring enough so you can reinstate the safety lever to the "safe" position you're good to go again

Have someone that knows how to do this show you....
