Is it just the gas port that is different, or is there something else i need to change to go from 2 3/4 to 3" mag in my remmy 1100.Obviously I would change the barrel.

I think I read you must re stake the ejector further back.

you will find other issues.
the receivers are not as heavy as the 3" the ejector port is shorter as is the bolt.
