ForrestBBaby Picture
After a 2-1/2 year gestation period, my new baby has arrived. This rifle is a 257 Roberts built on a Dakota single-shot action. Don Klein did all the work and it is superb. I need to look to into booking an antelope hunt.

Hats off to Don Klein, that is a stroke of business.............

ForrestBHey Stick-
The best thing about it is the stock is not really wood. Its a plastic stock with a fancy paint job. It's so strong I can hang it over a rafter and do pull-ups with both kids and my mother-in-law hanging from my legs.

DB BillForrestB......I'm suprised no one else has commented on the scope...nice to see a sharp looking rig with a scope that doesn't have the "circle of gold".

CustomstoxForrest that is awesome. Don does incredible work. So synthetics come with a ebony fore end tip now eh? And I dont know what that he was talking about, I didnt even see a scope.
Absolutely gorgeous, god I love those rifles.

<Big Stick>ForrestB,
I'm amongst the first to appreciate exquisite craftsmanship.
Just amongst the last to be trudging such beauty through the puckerbrush with me. My sensabilities(and wallet),won't allow it.
Same reason I don't have a Porsche with cut out fender wells and baby Super Swampers on it,for a Hunting Rig. I'm a knuckledragger, always have been.
Regardless of differing opinions, that is exemplary craftsmanship..................
