I need help finding a rifle that was on sale recently. This thing was an odd ball. It resembled a big-bore express bolt rifle but it was a 6.5X54 Mannlicher Schoenauer on a pre-64 M/70. It had an extended drop-box magazine that held 8 rounds! Is this a common request for a 'Smith? The gun really looked good, but it only had a 21 inch barrel, and was made to match its big brother [what ever that was]. I doudt it weighed less than 8 pounds, but I liked the big gun look in the small caliber.

I would just like to take a look at it again. For the life of me I cannot remember where I saw it, nor can I find it again. It was not one of the usual sites I visit for ideas. I think it was a link from another link kinda thing.

I see everyone else is in the same boat as me on this one?

This must have been a one time build? If anyone comes across that rifle please let me know. I would like to save the pictures of it for further referrence.
