<cpoole>a-bolt II trigger
I have a Browning A-bolt II trigger I would like to adjust. It has an adjustment screw and the owner's manual even describes how to adjust it. The problem I have is I cannot break the loctite (or whatever they used). What can I do or use to loosen the screw so I can turn it?

<Big Bore Bob>I have a couple of these myself... I don't recall having a problem with either of mine.
Not to sound like a wise-***, but try turning the other direction. The adjustment may be at either of its limits in one direction. It should turn rather effortlessly. I believe the minimum setting on that factory trigger is 4 lbs. It may be there already...

<G.Malmborg>Acetone will generally loosen loctite. Apply it with a "Q" tip. If that doesn't do the trick, let a gunsmith resolve the problem for you.
