Ruger customer service
My late 70's Ruger Mk 1 22 auto started to misfire, trigger felt 'crunchy' and failed to fire most rounds. I took it apart and cleaned, no good (and challenging to reassemble). I took it to a gun shop in El Campo Tx on the way to our lease and dropped off. I went by Friday and it was ready to go in a Ruger box. Turns out I fitted some nice wood Mk 2 grips, which allowed play in sear or trigger, not sure. Gunsmith talked to Ruger and sent it to them. They fixed, no charge, and swapped part out to Mk 2 specs. Gunsmith charged $20 for shipping. What a deal. I wish somebody could fix all of my mistakes for $20! Bob

I have only had problems with two new Rugers. Called, they swapped them for new and destroyed the old. No charge. I have not sent but one older back, caution added! If you have add on stuff, they will change back to factory specs and send you the parts!
