john c.ruger trigger
looking for advice on a mini 14 series 141 trigger. are aftermarket trigger groups available? or? shot it yesterday after a long absence. i swear the pull must be 40-50 lbs!

MyNameIsEarlYou can get spring kits for them. But a replacement trigger like a Timney or Jewel no. Not that I have seen. There are a half dozen companies making spring kits, a quick Google or your favorite search engine will bring you up a list

cal30 1906I see this is an older post but in case you are still on the fence about which one to get I was given a Jewel trigger and I like it but have it set slightly light and on occasion get a double so I need to back it off a little. It did improve the quality though, no play no creep.
