woodsmato trigger
I once had some notes on how to adjust this trigger but can't find them now
Can anyone help me out?

WestpacRear screw should be sear engagement. Bottom front should be trigger weight. There should be a spring behind that screw. Top should be overtravel. It appears to be a Remington style trigger and so the instructions for adjusting those should apply to this. Where did all the lint come from?

woodsThere you are. Sorry I lost the notes on the instructions you gave me.
This is the other Mato which you haven't worked on so you are not responsible. You know I couldn't see that lint until I took a macro picture of it. I cleaned it off when I saw it in the pic.
I was adjusting the bottom screw out and it finally got so far out that the screw came out and exposed the spring. I did manage to get it back in and turned one full turn to engage enough threads to make it safe, but it still is over 5 pounds according to my scale.
Is there some other way to reduce the pull weight? Should I mess with the sear engagement or is that just to reduce creep?
