Dear Sirs;

I own a weatherby mark V, and because of an accident, the triggerguard assembly got lost, so I request to the Spanish (I live in Spain) importer a replacement piece, and the told me I must wait many time to get one (six months to more than one year). If you need a replacement piece of another american manufacturer, (Browning, remington, winchester ....) it is normal to wait no more than a couple of weeks,
Why has weatherby such a bad service for their customers?
Has anybody a replacement piece to sell me?

I would email Weatherby directly. It's probable that your distributor only places orders twice a year. They also have a warranty depot in Germany to cover Europe and they would likely sell you one without the hassle of the end user agreements and customs red tape.

I have e-mailed to weatherby many days ago and I have not received any answer, I suppose they do not intend to sell many rifles here, we are more tan million of hunter, taking into account the bad service we receive.
On the other hand, other American Brands and European brands, give more than an aceptable service here.

Getting it from Germany will be much easier than getting it from the USA too as you won't have to deal with all of the end user agreements and other import/export requirements to Europe.

Well, I kinda cheatererered a bit John. I did warranty for Weatherby for 15 years and distributed all their Canadian warranty parts for 5 years so I have a leg up on how the game is played. Weatherby is generally pretty easy to deal with. It's that damned US border and ITAR that gets to be a thorn in the side.
