srtraxCant find an older thread?
Not to long ago there was a thread on nite bluing of small parts with a smelter. I cant find it in the search section.
What was the brand name of the product that was being used? I believe it was a stump remover or something like that. I know it was Potassium nitrate, but had a comercial product name to it.
Thanks for your help!

kcstottI think I mentioned in one of the threads that you can order it off ebay pretty cheep or you can have the Pharmacist order it for you. Tell them you are using it for a metal coloring process and they won't bat an eye

srtraxThought I had seen potassium nitrate/kno3 somewheres before...a friend/customer of mine owns/operates a plant and tree nursery. Got a product called HI-YIELD, Stump Remover. MSDS sheet shows it being KN03, wont have time to try it today but maybe before the year ends...

Happy New Year to ALL!

onefunzr2Go to Lowes and ask for Spetraceides stump remover. Tell them Jimmy Johnson sent you.
