Will a barrel from a JC Higgins model 50 made by FN fit on a VZ-24? I was thinking that they were interchangable.

The threads will be the same. If either one has iron sights, they may end up on the bottom of the rifle when the barrel is screwed on

Well that is the buyers problem. I would say that any gunsmith should be able to shave a little of and set the barrel back and make it come out right.

Tell him to just shot it ghetto style and he won't have a problem
