Barrel refit ?

Barrel refit ?
Will a same caliber(7mm Rem Mag) barrel from a Win Mod 70 Classic fit a Browning A-Bolt Medallion without being modified ?
If mods are necessary, approx. cost ?
Would it be a worthwhile project or would it be better to go with a premium barrel ?

No they won't interchange without extensive remachining....in fact There are no barrels that will interchange between makes without remachining.

Factory barrels are not usually worth the time it takes to refit them.

IMHO you would be way ahead by buying a custom barrel. Lothar Walter is an excellent choice.
