What would be a nice trigger to put on my Remington 700... it is a 30-06 hunting rifle? Looking for your advice.
Thanks

The factor one is fine on a hunting rifle. I can be adjusted. It can be ajusted to a safe 3# triger. Any ligher is not desireable on a big game rifle.

Send your factory trigger to the Triggersmith. For $35 bucks they will completely blueprint it and set the pull weight for you...and it’s guaranteed for life.

If you could find a Jewell two-stage, that would be the ideal, IMO.

Or a double set trigger would be a cool second option.

Take Rick's advice, I had him do a couple of Rem triggers. Very happy with the results, pretty hard to beat for $35 and a lifetime guarantee.

Remington trigger will work just fine. Jay
BTW, Snipercountry instructions suck. No offence.

I owned a rifle with a double set trigger for years. It worked very well.Took my shooting to a higher level.I feel if you want to improve your shooting especially offhand, you need a light trigger pull and a short lock time.
