TGetzenG33/40 Custom
At a gun show today, I saw a custom 22-250 built on a G33/40 -- had a nicely turned down & shaped bolt handle, heavy contour barrel, burris mounts and rings, and a decent but not fancy English walnut stock (very unusual but not unpleasant stock lines) with a Niedner style buttplate.
The rear bridge of the action was a bit overpolished, with rounded edges; the right side was tapped for ?? a receiver sight. Stock bottom metal. Nice deep lustrous bluing, maybe rust blue? Decent trigger, looked like a timney; Buehler style safety.
Forgot to mention when first writing: some stock lines were not quite perfect, but not very noticeable; inletting around tang a little sloppy; no checkering.
Price: $600.
What do you think?

AtkinsonInasmuch as the G33-40 actions are bringing $600 in many circles, that should be a heck of a deal.....I'm always looking for a G33-40 for about $400. but havn't found any lately.....I may have to shape up and raise my sights to get one.....
