Take off barrel question
Hi guys,
will a take off barrel from a Rem mod. 700 thread to a Rem. mod.7 action?

Yes, what is different between a Rem700 and a Remington Model7 is the length of the rear receiver ring...

the barrel threads are the same.

BTW, the Normal barrel profile on a Remingtom Model 7
closely resembles the "mountain rifle" profile, but is
typically not the Model 7's 20" length.

MR barrels are typically 22 or 24" while most M7 barrels are only 20"

If putting on a NON-MR barrel you'll have some work relieving the barrel channel inletting.
