Gunsmith for Pistol sights
Who do you recommend for fast turnaround on a set of Glock sights?

I just picked up a set of TruGlo sights for a G19, and would like to have them installed.

Cost?

Thanks,
Garrett

Don't you have a local gunsmith or Glock Armorer who can turn it around in short order? I can do it, but it will take a minimum of 3 days and cost you a fair amount with the overnight shipping. For that, I would check the Yellow Pages...

Garrett, as malm said, shipping will kill you. Might also check a local gun show, may be a glock person there that has a sight pusher/tool.
Might also check brownells as it didn't seem like they cost to much and then you would have it for future projects.

I think I have a Glock pusher tool?
Want to borrow it?

Garrett, it is pretty easy to change Glock sites of they are designed as simple replacements with no machine work. I would invest in the Glock pusher tool and do it yourself.

I thought that for installation of the sights I would just have to send the slide.

Does it require the entire pistol?

I realize that I would have to drift the rear to regulate it for my particular pistol.

There are 'smiths locally. I thought this might be an easier job to send out since only the slide would travel.

Thanks,
Garrett

Sure, I would recommend you send just the slide to whom ever..

If you don't want to do it yourself the take it to any gunsmith in your area. It's pretty hard to screw up installing Glock sights so you shouldn't need a super reputable person to install them. It only takes about 2 or 3 minutes so he should do it while you wait.

Thanks for the input guys.

I'll see who I can find locally.
