AHR TRIGGERS
HI,

I have a cz550 in a 416 rigby, I will have custom work done on it. I have heard of AHR triggers that can replace the cz trigger.Has anyone here heard of the AHR custom trigger or know anything about ARH triggers for the cz550?. Are they worth having place on the cz or would you just stay with the factory trigger?.Thanks,Kev

Apparently,

there pretty good according to Robgunbuilder, one day I would like to get them for my cz's. Go ahead and get it if you want. But I have to say I am not dissapointed with how the standard cz trigger works, in fact it does the job well.

AHR does sell a custom trigger for the CZ550. I have two. they seem fine and I suspect they are necessary to work with their custom 3 position safeties. It's more of a nice to have feature than a gotta have IMHO. I can live with the standard CZ trigger!-Rob

Well I ordered one a while back for my 550 .416R and was pretty disappointed with it. From the cost I was expecting a complete trigger mechanism but what I got was just a trigger lever which was roughly machined and finished which fits to the original bulky mechanism. So for $65US (about $140 Aus)I got a trigger lever a bit wider and which will sit further to the rear in the trigger guard and thats it. Save your money.

gg375,

I was sort of interested in getting a couple but you have turned me off the idea. Is the only advantage that it looks better ??

Thing is it won't be long I will have so many cz's I will not be able to afford to get enough AHR triggers & safety's to go around so I am going to make do and get used to how the triggers and safety's are in there standard configuration. I would rather put cash into owning an extra couple excellent cz rifles.

HI,

I think I will stay with the trigger in the gun, but I would like to get the 3 position safety. Thanks,Kev
