Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

Brownells has them-you need the pilot in your bore size along with the cutter, and they cut VERY nicely. Just be sure to brush out chips before they get into the bore, like every 6-8 revs of the cutter, and oil the pilot. Plumbers thread cutting oil is good. I used the 1/2" dia 118(?) deg target crown cutter on a .8" SS barrel, and it made a nice recessed crown.

If all you want to do is one crown and have the time, a passable job can be done with a computer mouse ball.

Remove the rubber coating from the ball and use valve grinding compound. It works out to an 11 degree angle. Just keep looking at the crown to make sure you are cutting evenly. If you start cutting more towards one side it will be apparent.

for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside
