WalkerBad scope???
Okay, I mounted a used Leupold 1.5X5 on the .375 H&H I bought.
I can see the gun barrle thru the scope. I've never seen this before. What's up.
The scope bore sighted just fine.

Bob GThe scope has a huge field of view when set at a low power. Sound like it is OK

WalkerYou're probably right. I just cranked it up to 5X and the barrel disappeard. I guess I'll go shoot it.
Thanks Bob

jstevensThe scope is normal, just a wide field of view, which is perfect for a .375. Go kill something with it.

Happened with the 1.5-4.5x32 Bushnell 3200 Elite on my .375 H&H T/C Encore.
I thought it was "broke" too - I was wrong.
Shoot it awhile and soon you won't notice it.

You will see this any time you are looking thru a scope at 1.5X or lower. Even at 2.5X, you're likely to see the front sight, etc., but it will be a little out of focus, and not so obvoius as at a lower magnification.....
