exsanguinatewood vs synthetic stock
besides weight, are there any other draw backs to a fajen pillar bedded laminatated stock vs a B&C or HS aluminum bedding block stock? given a good glass bedding, will they shoot the same?

fyjAll of the aluminum blocked H&S stocks I have seen required skim bedding to actually get them to properly fit a particular barreled action. I have no experience at all with B&C stocks so can’t help you there.
If you bedded each of those stocks properly I doubt you would see any measurable difference in accuracy so I would suggest going with the one that feels and looks the best to you.
With todays finishing/sealing products you can make a solid wood or laminate stock almost as impervious to the elements as a synthetic.

It's more likely that the shooting ability will be the result of the care of the bedding job and less than on the material of the stock.
I like wood and would go that way.
