Remmington 700 Value?

I just received a Rem 700 BDL?/ 30-06 ser# 1XXX DU85 in a trade. Appears to be unfired. It has a Ducks Unlimited engraved floor plate nice walnut stock not a scratch or mar
on it

Any idea of the value? Was this a D.U. fundraiser/auction piece????

There is a "blue book" to use for determing gun values.......any gun shop should have it on hand

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I know someone who just got one from his neighbor for $75. I took the stock off, and I can't see anything wrong with it.

But all the ones I see at gunshows are more like $400.
